Released June 24, 1999

Homegrown Houston singer-songwriter Ron Jordan has shortened the
distance between Texas and Europe.  European country music disk jockeys have
been introducing Ron's CD,  "Diamonds and Hearts," to their listeners since
February.  The result is enthusiastic and favorable e-mails from fans across
the ocean as well as several spots on the European music charts.

Recently, the news was only good for Ron when his album showed up number
23 on the major top 30 albums chart and a single from the album, "The
Chaser," clocked in at number 18 on the top 40 independents chart.

Chart ratings are determined on how often a station plays a song.  The
frequency, in turn, determines how the artist receives payment for the
performance.  Favorable airplay often means that the artist will attract the
attention of larger record companies and promoters to help forward a career.

Ron's musical style reflects a blend of his heritage, starting with a
childhood spent in Memphis, Tennessee as a playmate of Elvis Presley's
stepbrothers, to his associations with the great entertainers in gospel,
blues, country and rock 'n roll.

His second album, "Sugar Land," is already available in Houston and will
be introduced to the European market around the new year.  Currently, he is
hard at work on a third album that includes live performances and some heavy
guitar pieces.

Ron's music can be enjoyed at several Houston clubs throughout the year.
